Over The Rainbow- Dromindoora N.S .

This project was with a small rural school, all pupils from 1st class up were involved. This project started as a prop making adventure towards a school play, however mid way circumstances changed this and we used the art work already created to make an installation in the entrance door and corridor of the school. This change of direction worked out well, and the pieces are still hanging in the school where all who enter pass by the rainbow and underneath the blue birds.

Materials- cardboard ,paper, papier mache,paints, found piping.

Activities- Individual drawings , stage set design, group work, construction, painting, installation, evaluation.
